This is a building I have long had a fascination with - an old disused power station on the outskirts of town.

Hopefully next time I'll get out the car and spend a bit more time around here :-).

Once upon a time

Once upon a time (okay last month) this is the street in which I used to work.

So I don't have a computer and internet access any more.

But I'm almost finished building my own :-).

And then my recent erratic posting should get better - gotta keep you guys on your toes.

Speed kills II

Our bus lane is missing two of its new lampposts as you can see.

According to the locals it was a taxi at 3 o' clock in the morning. And by taxi I mean one like that white van thing in the background (for you overseas visitors).

And the rain came

Fantastic for our drought, not so much when your current field of employment is fixing boats outdoors

(you know, as an example..)
