I don't know if it's just me all of a sudden, but I seem to be noticing a lot of this type of aesthetic going on.

Is it a "glass half full/empty" scenario?

Speed kills II

Our bus lane is missing two of its new lampposts as you can see.

According to the locals it was a taxi at 3 o' clock in the morning. And by taxi I mean one like that white van thing in the background (for you overseas visitors).

What's for lunch?

I found this gem on a recent visit to the inner city.

My powers of logic prevent me from making any further comment.

Coming through the front door at work yesterday I looked down and saw these two gems that had blown in from the street. 

That's a lotto ticket on the right if you were wondering.

And the back of the pamphlet was too good not to share.

And of course I didn't have my camera on me, so the trusty cell phone came to the rescue.

Judging from the amount of foam outside Aqua nightclub, last night must have been quite a party.

Today's theme day over at city daily photo is funny signs. I think these posts are meant to have a sign for the world cup. The rest of them were completed some time back though. Like this one.

I often see these signs. I find them quite disturbing and wonder how these guys can operate.

Another bizarre object on the back streets of North End. Your intrepid blogger will stay hot on the heels of more cutting-edge news like this. Volcanoes? nah nothing beats an abandoned oak headboard.!

I do find it quite beautiful though, in an "American Beauty" kind of way.
