Wanted: heavy lifters

So what do you see when you look out of your office window?

Nelson Mandela Bay Urban Run

Now while I seldom photograph events, I had a lot of fun at this mornings urban run.
It was a 12 kilometer course (I think) through the city center and surrounds, including obstacles.
However the whole thing seemed rather quiet. Let's hope there will be more and busier ones to come, as I am sure every one had a lot of fun.

Trainspeed

On my return journey into PE/North End from Redhouse I chanced a couple of shots out of the window (as the passenger of course).
And I can't resist a black and white :-)

Beauty with an ugly name

This yacht, stripped of all its rigging makes a much more effortless photo than trying to get a shot otherwise.

The end

No rain though, or apocalypse. Although the town was so dead today with everyone watching the Springboks narrow victory over Wales it felt like it.

Supper time

After a long day down the mineshaft, or in the harbour in my case, home to supper!

Mirror sea

This is one of those "saw it with my eyes, couldn't quite get it on camera" moments.
Nonetheless, we do our best.

Spring, take two:

Inspired by my crap photograph the other day, I thought I'd try it again.
Next up: kittens and bunnies, ha ha!

Through the looking glass

Day 1 of my incarceration, at least I still have the internet.
No, kidding I'm working in the open air of the harbour, so expect quite a few of those coming through.
Unless I'm too wiped out to post, like last night.
Or, as Tom Waits quotes: any day on this side of the dirt is a good one.
