I've finally gotten around to shooting some the-other-side-of-sunset pics. 

I have a really basic camera, and yet I've never used half the settings.

And last night I couldn't connect to anything Google related, so my best intentions were thwarted.

Yesterdays rugby game between the Springboks and the All Blacks brought some life to our street.

I'm always excited to see people being drawn to our city centre.

It does have that industrial aesthetic though.

I haven't done a panorama for a while now.

I like this shot for what it is, blown-out foreground included.

So we'll leave the reasons for its sad state for another day, shall we?

Over-the-top colour can be quite gimmicky, but I hope not in this case.

Then again that's the great thing about a blog: spontaneity, the best medicine.

I think I've taken more shots under this stretch of freeway than anywhere else.

Which fits nicely into my idea of not having to travel to take good pics.
