Had a drink tonight NE so excuse the ramblings, That girder sticking out is for loading/unloading in the warehouse. Reminds me of my grandfather, he used to work in such a warehouse/cavern in a street called Matthew Street where years later a certain group named after an insect made themselves famous. They never made a song and dance about him or his colleagues but I like to think he was just preparing it for them with "a hard days night" or "we can work it out" or maybe just "Nowhere Man".
